Aaron S. Law, O.D.
Dr. Aaron S. Law was born in Topeka, KS where he grew up and went on to receive his undergraduate degree from The University of Kansas in 2004. Upon graduating, Dr. Law moved to Boston to attend The New England College of Optometry where he graduated in 2008 with honors as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society.
Dr. Law’s training included several specialized areas of eye care. Beginning with a rigorous program in Pediatrics and Strabismus training from the nation’s leading eye hospital, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami School of Medicine. From there Dr. Law moved north to Vermont to attend training in Ocular Disease from the White River Junction Veterans Hospital as well as the Veterans Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Further specialty training in Contact Lenses at The New England Eye Institute in Boston, MA, and finally LASIK co-management training at The Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale Beach, FL.
Dr. Law is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Missouri Optometric Association and the Greater Kansas City Optometric Society, and a lifetime member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society. Dr. Law has successfully completed all parts of the National Boards Examinations and holds optometric licenses in both Missouri and Kansas.
Dr. Law works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Law’s dedication to continuing education that our patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.
Dr. Law moved to Kansas City, MO in 2008, and lives with his wife Dr. Candice Law, who is also an optometrist, specializing in Ocular Disease Treatment and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Kansas City VA Hospital. Dr. Law was recently the 2015 – 2016 President of the Belton-Raymore Rotary Club and also enjoys numerous volunteering efforts locally as well as far away with a previous mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The Laws met while attending optometry school in Boston, and married in May of 2009. They now have 3 kids, Parker, Camden and their most recent addition in 2018, Emryn. They love and enjoy camping, hiking and exploring the outdoors with their kids.
Matthew C. Broberg, O.D.
Optometrist and Director of Home Care, Dr. Matthew Broberg was born in Kansas City and grew up in Salina, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2010. He received his doctor in optometry at Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in Pomona, California.
While attending Western University, Dr. Broberg was able to work with the latest technological advancements in medical practice including contact lenses, management and treatment of disease, and vision therapy training. While in school, Dr. Broberg had the opportunity to work in mobile health care where he visited retirement homes, group homes, and patient’s individual homes to provide eye care to the residents. Dr. Broberg is excited to bring in-home care to Kansas City and create a personalized and fun experience with mobile health care.
Melanie A. Deitch, O.D.
Dr. Melanie Deitch grew up in Grand Junction, CO. She moved to Troy, NY for college and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2014. She later attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated with honors in 2018.
Dr. Deitch received specialized training in dry eye management, pediatric care, medical optometry, and surgical co-management during her time in Houston. She loves learning about the latest and greatest in eyecare and applying that knowledge to best address her patient’s needs. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa international optometric honor society, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Dr. Deitch and her husband, Tom, live in Leawood, KS. She enjoys getting outside to camp, hike, or cross-country ski. When not at the office, she can be found doing anything crafty or DIY, or experimenting in the kitchen with a new recipe. She’s always looking for great places to eat throughout KC and will happily take suggestions.
